Mastering Your Own Destiny

© 2015 Carmen Waterman - 10 The WheelThe young woman in this card is confidently holding onto the hands of the clock. She is not about to let time slip away from her without making each moment count. She is ever present in the moment and willing to take ownership of what happens.

The Wheel in the Rainbow Travellers Tarot shows the power and momentum that surrounds a clock which is representative of destiny and fate. The circles of the wheels go round and round repeating their motion, each an intricate part of what moves time forward.

When The Wheel comes into your life it is a reminder about the cycles of life, that there is good and bad, that sometimes things may appear to come easily while at others it seems like everything is an uphill battle. This card is a reminder that you do not have to just accept those times that are difficult, that you can actively choose to take steps to improve your situation. One thing is certain – that change is inevitable and you will not always be in the place you currently find yourself. In fact often The Wheel appears when things are about to take an upturn into better times, which is why it is often referred to as the Wheel of Fortune.

This card holds real magic for me, time is so elusive and I think it is something we can master if we remain in the moment and do not worry about the past or the future. The Wheel brings the energies of fate and destiny and puts it in your hands to create.

What do you want to manifest in your life?

I agree. The wheel is constantly turning and we have a choice, either go with the flow of energy or go against it. Great post.

Thanks Aaron, there was a time in my life when I didn’t believe I had as much opportunity to change the direction of my own destiny and then I decided it really was up to me. That coincided with my real leap of faith and embracing my passions and dreams.

Yes! I agree. Your words have hit it right on the button. I have had the same realization and it took a few years, stumbles, and boo-boos to understand that perfect thought. Blessed Be.

Great blog! I especially love her holding on to the hands of the clock confidently so time won’t slip away, and how you set creation to be put in the hands to THEN decide to manifest something with it. Full-on digging the synced concepts between our blogs, Carmen!

Thanks Jordan, I love when the universe lines things up and we get to see how much we are all connected. It’s like getting validation that the message is both powerful and one that we are meant to pay attention to.
